JEREMY RAINBIRD is an entrepreneur with over 24 years’ experience in media including advertising as well as other areas of business, such as broadcast and production.
Jeremy exited from Addiction Worldwide in 2012, after 15 years as CEO of the creative agency group he founded in 1998 at the age of 25. When he sold the business to the Mission Marketing Group PLC, Addiction was operating in two continents, with over 100 staff and fee income in excess of £10m p.a. The business was the first UK IPA advertising agency to win CPD Gold in its inaugural year of membership and was honoured with being crowned ‘Media Employer of the Year’ in 2010.
Over the years running Addiction, Jeremy advised and managed communications for companies such as Coca-Cola, Remington, Adidas, B&Q, Yahoo, Virgin, Krispy Kreme, John Frieda, VW and Rimmel London amongst others. Jeremy is passionate about the arts, design, architecture, food, business, local life and the environment. Jeremy is now focusing his energy on creating a business that encompasses these passions into a responsible, yet commercially viable offering that ‘does good’ and leaves a legacy. Jeremy is interested in The Rainbird Co. having an East London focus, as it is the part of London he grew up in and an area he is passionate about and believes in wholeheartedly.
Jeremy is also a non-exec board director of Merman, a BAFTA award winning television and film company. This role allows him to work with some of great talents of the small and big screen and is proving to be highly useful for his work at The Rainbird Co.
Born in Smithfield, Jeremy is an East Londoner through and through. He lives in Victoria Park with his family, splitting their time between Los Angeles and New York throughout the year.
